About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining proper records of transactions. This role is crucial to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s financial procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Generate and send invoices to customers based on contractual terms and services rendered. (Mail, email, and customer portals).
- Review and verify billing data for completeness and accuracy.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Work closing with Collections on billing discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and communications.
- Regularly review billing reports for backlog.
- Collaborate with other departments to clarify billing terms and resolve any client concerns.
- Assist with audits and year-end accounting processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of billing software and MS Excel (experience with SAP ERP systems a preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
