As a Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in executing our sales strategies and driving business growth. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, developing customer relationships, and contributing to the success of our fire protection services. Additionally, you will actively engage in direct sales activities, building relationships and closing deals to ensure the achievement of company sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Set and monitor sales territories, goals, and KPIs in line with regional objectives.
- Organize training sessions to enhance skills in prospecting, negotiation, and customer engagement.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement scalable sales processes and strategies.
- Optimize CRM tools and sales technologies to track performance and streamline operations.
- Support sales reps in creating tailored customer solutions, including pricing and proposals.
- Participate in field sales activities, networking, and customer meetings to drive new business.
- Close sales for key accounts or high-value opportunities.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales team members.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing their needs and challenges.
- Resolve customer issues in coordination with operations teams.
- Represent the company in negotiations and complex sales opportunities.
- Monitor and report team performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the fire protection or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in direct sales, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales productivity software.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on performance insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
