What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Contract Administrator position at Kit Pack Company?
We are looking for an assistant contract administrator to join the team. The perfect candidate has previous contract admin experience for at least 2 years. Primary job duties are setting up new contacts in the computer system and creating hard files to distribute to other departments along with maintaining several company logs in Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good phone skills are a must. This position may also require cross departmental duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Contract file set up
· Maintain several company logs in Excel
· Search government websites for new contracts
· Review and update existing contracts
· Attend weekly production meetings

Skills/abilities:
· Proven work experience as assistant contract administrator is a plus
· Knowledge of government contracts is a plus
· Strong attention to detail, with ability to spot errors
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Experience with Microsoft Excel
· Ability to learn new computer software
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Starting pay dependent on experience.
Full or Part Time Considered
