Receiving/Inventory Specialist

Our team is growing, and we currently have a job opening for a full-time, Receiving/Inventory Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Tasks relating to inventory control: receiving and storing parts from suppliers, data entry, physical movement of items, and material disposition.
• Maintains organization of material on the assembly floor to provide a working environment that is clean, organized, optimized, and easy to maintain
• Performs all other related tasks pertinent to the success of the production line material-related issues
• Conducts annual cycle counts of all inventory types and maintains inventory accuracy
• Ensure new items have proper locations within 24 hours of receipt
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
• Resolve incoming delivery issues with key stakeholders
• Loading and unloading shipments
• Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate computer skills, MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Position is on-site in Irvine, CA
