Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for helping people transform their living spaces? Do you enjoy guiding homeowners through exciting design possibilities and seeing their dreams come to life? Kitchen Solvers of Columbus is looking for a dynamic Sales/Design Consultant to join our growing team!
What You’ll Do
* Engage with Clients: Meet homeowners eager to update or completely remodel their kitchens. You’ll listen to their needs, answer questions, and provide expert guidance on style, layout, and material choices.
* Create Inspiring Designs: Use your flair for aesthetics (and our design tools) to develop plans that match each customer’s vision—while also meeting their functionality and budget requirements.
* Drive Sales: You’ll be the go-to person for turning interest into action. From presenting proposals and estimates to closing deals, you’ll ensure our customers feel confident and excited about their project.
* Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with project managers and installers to deliver seamless customer experiences. Good communication is key to making sure projects turn out just right.
* Stay on Top of Trends: Keep up with the latest in cabinet refacing, countertops, and kitchen design techniques so you can dazzle customers with fresh, cutting-edge ideas.
What We’re Looking For
* Design Knowledge: Experience or education in interior design, architecture, or a related field is a big plus. A strong eye for detail and a good grasp of color, layout, and materials are essential.
* Sales Savvy: You’re confident, personable, and thrive on meeting (and beating) sales goals. If you’ve got a proven track record in customer-facing roles, we want to hear from you!
* Excellent Communication: You know how to connect with people, listen effectively, and explain ideas clearly. Comfortable using design software or learning new tools is also important.
* Team Player Attitude: We’re big on collaboration. You’ll need to work closely with our production crew, suppliers, and leadership team to ensure top-notch results for our clients.
* Self-Starter: While you’ll have plenty of support, we appreciate someone who can take initiative, organize their schedule, and stay on top of leads and appointments.
