Position Overview The Utility M&O Specialist - Sewer Electrical position is skilled in the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of a wide variety of electrical systems and associated equipment used in wastewater treatment process and sewer pumping facilities. Knows and works under electrical industry standards, regulations, and codes. May assist other Public Works divisions as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of work experience performing electrical maintenance work. For example, preventative electrical maintenance on pumps, generators, motors or related.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in a wastewater treatment plant
- Industrial electrical, electrical construction and process control equipment.
- Washington State Journeyman Electrician's License
- Certification as a Washington State Treatment Plant Operator in Training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.25 - $37.08 per hour
