Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is hiring a Crisis Triage Center Manager to provide administrative and clinical leadership to our Crisis Triage Center, which operates 24/7 to serve our community. The manager will ensure high-quality, well-coordinated clinical care, oversee program operations, and collaborate with internal departments and community partners. This role is essential to maintaining and improving crisis response services while fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure coordination and continuity of care for KMHS clients, providing leadership for smooth transitions across services.
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and professional development to staff, ensuring high-quality clinical care and adherence to best practices.
- Lead staff recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management to support program goals.
- Ensure contract compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to agency and regulatory policies.
- Foster relationships with community partners to enhance crisis service accessibility and engagement.
- Stay informed of legislative changes and industry best practices to keep the program compliant and effective.
- Promote a positive work environment through leadership, staff support, and clear communication.
- Represent KMHS in community outreach efforts and advocate for individuals in crisis.
- Address and resolve barriers to client care through collaboration with other programs and services.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or Behavioral Health.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years’ community mental health experience. Proficient in providing individual supervision to clinical staff and possess at least 2 years of leadership experience in behavioral health.
LICENSURE: Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in RCW 71.05.020.
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. Healthcare leadership knowledge and experience in managing 24/7 multidisciplinary teams.
LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC), able to provide licensure supervision.

- Maintain a working knowledge of current trends in community mental health.
- Maintain a working knowledge of effective leadership in healthcare
SKILLS:
- Must be able to effectively document using both handwriting and agency recognized computer word processing formats.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills.
- Excellent Communication skills - Communicates clearly and concisely.
- Computer skills - The ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, printer, and copier proficiently. Familiar with EHR.
ABILITIES:
- Ability to deescalate potentially volatile situations with clients.
- Able to assist in building positive working relationships with staff of all agency departments.
- Ability to develop clinical programming
Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment: Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods.
Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the job duties, the employee is required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, or listen. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
