Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is hiring a Crisis Triage Center Operations Supervisor! In this vital role, you will support the administrative management of our 24/7 Crisis Triage Center, ensuring efficient operations, quality care, and a safe environment for both staff and clients. Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CTC leadership to analyze workflows and improve program operations.
- Develop and maintain current standard operating procedures and individual training manuals.
- Monitor and track safety checks, addressing any discrepancies.
- Ensure staff documentation is completed accurately and promptly per regulatory requirements.
- Assist with inventory management and purchasing protocols.
- Stay informed about legislative changes and WACs relevant to the CTC.
- Research and implement best practices for crisis care and contribute to program development.
- Conduct chart checks for quality documentation and support audits as needed.
- Monitor recruiter dashboard, screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews, and coordinate with People Experience (PE) on hiring processes.
- Provide supervision to program staff in the absence of the clinical supervisor.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide training to BHT leads and MHP supervisors.
- Conduct performance appraisals in collaboration with the clinical supervisor.
- Monitor and ensure staff compliance with required training and deadlines.
- Support onboarding by verifying documentation and ensuring orientation is properly conducted.
- Assist in maintaining adequate staffing, including providing direct support if needed.
- Promote positive staff morale and facilitate effective communication.
- Provide education about the CTC and present to internal and external partners as needed.
- Address concerns or grievances from the community regarding services or quality of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health and 2 years community behavioral health experience OR equivalent education and experience requirements (i.e. High School Diploma and 5 years’ experience).
AND
Two years’ experience in staff supervision and/or leadership.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Specialist (4 years of experience). 4 years community behavioral health experience.
Experience in operations management in healthcare.
Experince working with a multidisciplinary team in behavioral health.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment: Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods.
Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, ascend and descend stairs, talk or listen and lift up to 50 pounds. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
