What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at KITTEL FAMILY VETERINARY PRACTICE INC.?
We are looking to add a Veterinary Assistant to our team. Our practice has been open since November 2010 and we see/treat dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. We are a full-service, general practice owned by a husband and wife team who enjoy working together and helping the animals in their community. Currently the office is open Monday-Friday, so employees have the weekends off.
The job duties include assisting the veterinarian with appointments, pre-op & post-op patient care, cold laser therapy, blood draws, injections, digital radiographs, and pharmacy. We have both part-time or full-time hours available for this position. Applicants must have at least 1 year prior experience as a veterinary assistant to be considered for this position. Pay is dependent on prior vet assistant experience and abilities.
