What are the responsibilities and job description for the Noxious Weed Inspector I position at Kittitas County?
The Noxious Weed Inspector I (hereinafter referred to as Weed Inspector) is responsible for administering Chapters 17.04 and 17.10 RCW. The Weed Inspector is also responsible for enacting policy statements, operating procedures, and decisions as directed by the Coordinator and so resolved by the Noxious Weed Board for the purposes of surveying, monitoring, and managing noxious weeds in Kittitas County. Must maintain courteous and cooperative working relationships with administrative and other County personnel, public agencies, and the general public, and work under the guidance of Local/State/Federal regulations and County policies/procedures. This is a full-time seasonal (April-September), non-exempt, non-benefited, non-union position.
