Summary
The primary role of the Nurse Delegated Coordinator is to provide support to clients on their caseload requiring nurse delegated and other medically intensive tasks. Assist clients to achieve their goals in accordance with the residential guidelines. KIM is looking for qualified candidates to fill a full-time weekday shift. Shift options are as follows:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday: (8:00am-4:00pm)
Salary
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily hygiene as outlined in their individual care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, and more.
- Administer correct medications to clients and document the activity accordingly, including nurse delegated tasks.
- Communicate with medical offices, pharmacies, and the nurse delegator for medications and appointments.
- Assist clients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed, as needed
- Monitoring vitals (if applicable) and client behaviors, documenting accordingly.
- Transport clients to and from all activities and appointments and/or arrange transportation services as appropriate.
- Complete all forms, reports, and datasheets for caseload.
- Supervise clients’ daily activities and living conditions to ensure adequate health and safety.
- Coordinate individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly.
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Current criminal background check cleared by DSHS before working alone unsupervised with the clients
- Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID
- Home telephone or cell phone
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Additional training specific to client complex care and behavioral needs
- A reliable vehicle and car insurance is required for this position.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
- Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) License, or higher (required to obtain within 120 days of hire)
- Home Care Aide (HCA) License (preferred)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC) License (preferred)
