Summary

The primary role of the Support & Recovery Training & Program Supervisor (SR TPS) is supervising all aspects of client coaching and growth toward graduation of the CP Program, as well as supervising daily living support for their caseload.

This role is responsible for coaching and developing new Support & Recovery Advocates (SRAs).

Salary

$21.00-$22.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and advocate for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect.
  • Supervise the teaching of useful emotional and behavioral regulation techniques.
  • Supervise the identification of areas of change as outlined in their therapist’s Treatment Plan that clients on their caseload are working toward.
  • Supervise collaboration between SRAs and clients to achieve goals resulting in graduation from the CP Program by developing action plans based on their Treatment Plan and suggesting different actions when necessary.
  • Monitor ISP driven data for caseload.
  • Evaluate SRA progress of clients’ advancement toward goal actualization.
  • Collaborate with the client, therapist, CP Program Manager, and SRAs to identify triggers that could lead to relapse.
  • Encourage continued and sustainable progress for both SRAs and clients.
  • Supervise goal setting and report progress with clients and management team.
  • Supervise individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly.
  • Supervise the administration, implementation, and documentation of medications (if applicable).
  • Accompany clients to health appointments and provide appropriate documentation for each appointment to management in a timely manner.
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly TPS checklists.
  • Monitor trainee’s schedules and communicate shift hours with the Scheduling Manager.
  • Assist staff with finding appropriate times to conduct peer coaching.
  • Provide peer coaching and development for new staff, complete documentation.
  • Perform coaching meetings with new staff in training utilizing SMART goals and Reflection sheets.
  • Conduct 1 : 1s with all staff weekly.
  • Provide training, assistance, and support to staff in all areas of daily living as outlined in the client’s care plans.
  • Coordinate transportation with SRAs / clients to and from all agency outings, activities, and health appointments, and / or arrange transportation services as appropriate.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to staff with guidance and verbal training before sending them out on appointment or task.
  • Provide appropriate documentation for each appointment to management in a timely manner.
  • Supervise client money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBT’s.
  • Supervise homes to ensure adequate client and staff safety.
  • Report promptly instances of injuries, behaviors, abuse, and safety hazards, etc. to management, following the Chain of Command.
  • Ensure adequate health care for each client.
  • Supervise administration and documentation of medications to clients.
  • Communicate with medical offices and pharmacies.
  • Monitor and re-order medications that are not given on a regular base or medications that are not ordered in client’s regular medication cycle (PRN’s).
  • Assist client with daily hygiene as outlined in care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, etc. (if applicable).
  • Maintain client confidentially.
  • Maintain appropriate staff / client relationships.
  • Safeguard all company and client property.
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of client’s personal property.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisor and management team to report any concerns with clients, scheduling, and / or other staff.
  • Abstain from partaking of or possessing any illegal drugs or alcohol while on duty.
  • Be aware and abide by all agency policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities as defined by management.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Current criminal background check cleared by DSHS before working alone unsupervised with the clients
  • Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID (A reliable vehicle and car insurance is required for this position)
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Additional training specific to client complex care and behavioral needs
  • Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities, work well with other staff and clients, exhibit job-related competency, and make independent judgments.
  • Ability to supervise new hires.
  • Intermediate experience supporting developmentally disabled adults.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • The Buzz on Adult Leaners Certificate (provided by KIM)
  • Peer Coaching Training Certificate (provided by KIM)
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • Current Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate (preferred)
