- New Hire Onboarding: Lead property management new hire onboarding programs, with particular focus on office team training, ensuring employees are well-prepared to succeed in their roles.
- eLearning Ownership: Manage and oversee all eLearning content for property management, excluding leasing, ensuring the information is current, relevant, and accessible to all employees.
- Ongoing Training: Develop, facilitate, and deliver training across multiple platforms (virtual, recorded, and in-person) as required, ensuring ongoing skill development for property management staff.
- Collaboration with Regional Managers, Team Leads, and Corporate Leasing Trainer: Work closely with Regional Managers, Team Leads, and Corporate Leasing Trainer to develop, enhance, and implement training content and delivery methods tailored to the needs of different teams and regions.
- Training Hours Commitment: Dedicate a minimum of 100 hours per month to training activities, ensuring sufficient time is spent on training delivery and participant engagement.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on training activities, including retention metrics, onboarding progress, eLearning completion, career pathing, and other relevant data.
- Training Gatekeeper: Serve as the gatekeeper for the training inbox ([email protected]), ensuring timely responses and managing training-related inquiries.
- Policy and Procedure Assistance: Assist Operations Manager with the development, maintenance, and periodic review of property management policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date.
- Career Pathing: Assist in the design and implementation of career pathing initiatives, ensuring clear growth tracks for property management positions.
- Travel and Field Training: Travel for field training purposes as needed, up to 25% of the work schedule, ensuring in-person engagement with property-level employees when and if necessary.
- On-Site Assignments: Be available for temporary on-site assignments as required/needed to provide hands-on support, training, or troubleshooting in property management operations.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Property Management team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-family industry with focus on training, operations, and/or property management.
- Intermediate to Advanced Yardi software experience is required with the ability to utilize it for training, reporting, and operations.
- Excellent presentation skills, good public speaking skills. Must be able to deliver training to large groups effectively and professionally.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Skills: Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as experience in using audio/visual and computer-based programs for training and delivery as must.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing: interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others accurately and quickly. Ability to clearly explain complex concepts and instructions to various audiences.
- Travel up to 25% of work schedule.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities such as trade association conventions, seminars and training to stay current with best practices and training development
- Able to push, pull, lift, or carry objects up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents/supplies.
- Frequently walk, sit, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to operate personal computers and other standard equipment (telephone, copy machine, tablets, etc.)
- Ability to operate audio/visual equipment for training sessions.
- Occasionally must sit and reach with hands/arms.
