Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a high school diploma/GED
Must be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Interact with children and to encourage their involvement in activities
Prepare a warm and safe environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing which permits the child to grow and explore
To use appropriate and positive discipline and to handle discipline promptly and in accordance with state policy
To assist Co-Teacher with lesson plans and child assessments
To observe, record, and report significant individual and group behavior
To establish and maintain good communications with parents through newsletters, parent/teacher conferences
To be a good role model to students, parents, and other staff members
To accept the differences in all children
To attend staff meetings, training and class functions when required
Base pay $10.50 per hour
Pay would be more if qualified candidate has WVIT, ACDS or AA in ECE
