Psychiatric Nurse Practioner (PMHNP) - Per Diem

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated per diem Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to assist with client care when needed. This individual would be availble on an as needed basis for support coverage for our clients. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients of all ages, focusing on psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and therapy.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care

- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

*Skills*

- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning

- Experience with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems

- Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare setting

- Skilled in adolescent medicine

- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health and addiction related challenges to address their individualized needs

- Strong nursing background with a focus on psychiatric and mental health care

- Excellent medical records management skills

Education: Masters of Science in Nursing, with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis, from an accredited college or university.

Licensure: Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience related to the above describe duties.
• Experience related to start up substance use treatment services.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
