We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Programmer Operator to create and optimize CNC programs for manufacturing components. This role involves selecting cutting tools, setting machine speeds/feeds, writing and verifying CNC code, and ensuring accuracy through simulations and trial runs. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating with other teams, troubleshooting, and maintaining a neat, organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use CAD/CAM software to create CNC programs and select cutting tools
- Verify CNC code and machine performance for accuracy
- Analyze job orders, blueprints, and specifications for tool selection
- Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs for efficiency
- Collaborate with functional teams and manage progress reports
- Maintain work area to 5S standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 7 years of CNC operation and programming experience
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, measuring devices, and math
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CNC systems
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn/training
