At KJ's Market, we are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, including greeting and thanking guests, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Properly bag guests' orders to ensure purchases are not damaged.
- Work well with all guests and supervisors.
- Place guests' purchases in grocery carts or hand bags to the guests and sincerely offer assistance to their vehicle.
- Perform price checks.
- Relay guests' problems to supervisor.
- Retrieve carts from parking lot.
- Clean front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
- Clean garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
- Ability to bend and lift to load guests' orders into cars.
- Effective communication and guest service skills.
