Role Description
KJK is seeking an enthusiastic and action-driven salesperson to increase sales by opening new doors and activating past clients by using all methods of sales including tradeshows, emails, calls, showroom appointments, social media, and traveling to meet key clients. An ideal candidate must be organized self-motivated, and enjoy building and maintaining relationships. Ability to multi-task is necessary. Experience selling to museum stores and/or artisan jewelry is a plus. The Specialist will be responsible for communicating with wholesale buyers, providing exceptional customer service, managing sales, and communicating with the designer regarding custom collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly sales goals
Open and maintain new accounts
Develop relationships with current accounts
Trade shows: set up, sales, and breakdown
National sales trips
Manage sample sets in the showroom and for travel
Update and maintain the online catalog in Filemaker Pro/Quickbooks
Sending promotional emails to clients.
Act with kindness and honesty to uphold the well-earned, positive reputation of KJK Jewelry.
Research and calendar upcoming exhibits to optimize sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of wholesale sales and client management experience
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have excellent oral and written skills so all communication is clear and concise
- Computer Skills: Excel and Word a must, Quickbooks, Filemaker Pro, and Shopify a plus
- Valid Drivers license and willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to identify the most common gemstones.
- Understanding and appreciation of jewelry fashion and trends
- Must be super organized and self-motivated to reach sales goals
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly beneficial
- Art History education/interest ideal
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus
