What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Coordinator position at KL&J Life Care Resource Agency?
This is not a PCA or work from home role. Our dedicated personnel provide support services by partnering with our clients on a one on one basis to work towards meeting specific program goals outlined in accordance with applicable federal and state standards. ***This post is for a 4 hour part time role in Maplewood-MN. This role is a late afternoon shift from Mon-Fri (3:30pm cst-7:30pm cst) with Sat-Sun start times determined by employee. In this role you will draw on your soft skills to provide support for a client living with developmental/ mental challenges. Weekend availability is crucial for this role.
Expectations:

- Punctuality in all meetings and document submission
- Portraying KL&J Life Care’s mission, vision, values and goals in all client dealings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support/mentoring to assigned clients
- Positively reinforcing behaviors in clients that aid in development
- Documentation of activities and client's progress
- Provide occasional transportation to clients if client assigned has limited access to transportation.
Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the US.
- At least 18 years
- Pass a background check
- Some customer service experience or experience working with seniors, people with developmental disabilities, mental illness or chemical dependency
- Have a high school diploma or higher
- Valid drivers license with active auto insurance and clean history
- Have a reliable form of transportation
