What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Klaben Auto Stores?
Summary of Essential Duties
- Represent Klaben in the most professional manner, guided by the highest moral standards and ethical values, and execute responsibilities with uncompromised integrity;
- Train as backup to HR Assistant II in all functions including new-employee orientation consistent with management guidelines, creating job descriptions, job ads, creating and tracking employee counseling memos and other documents
- Assist Human Resources Management with employee information processing and communications;
- Assist Human Resources management in maintaining Employee Handbook, assuring company compliance with employment laws and adherence of employees to company rules and regulations;
- Provide employee assistance with benefit plans and assist in benefits meetings and announcements
- Assist with miscellaneous functions as necessary and communicated by management including but not limited to proofing vendor invoices and orders, completing and submitting co-op claim forms, creating and revising Word and Excel documents,
What We Are Seeking
- Degree from a two or four-year college or university or one to three years related experience and/or training. Must excel in use of computers and MS Office. Must be flexible and update skill levels to assist with new assignments.
- Excellent command of MS Word and Excel;
- Ability to learn and effectively use Paylocity Benefit Management System;
- Excellent verbal and writing skills for business communication;
- Uncompromised integrity;
- Neat and clean appearance; personable; skilled in business phone etiquette; desire to properly represent Klaben Auto Stores in all contacts with employees, vendors and customers;
- Organized, punctual and dependable in all aspects of employment
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
