We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Spanish teacher to join our team of dedicated educators who are committed to helping students thrive. The ideal candidate is not only well-versed in Spanish language and culture but also brings energy and creativity to the classroom. A strong focus on learning through reading, writing, speaking, and active classroom discussion is essential.
We value collaboration—our Spanish teachers work closely in professional learning communities (PLCs) to develop engaging lessons, share strategies, and support student success.
Candidates will be evaluated using KCSD’s Teacher Evaluation Systems, based on the four Danielson Domains:

Professional Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and deliver effective instruction in alignment with KCSD curriculum and standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
Encourage language acquisition and cultural understanding through varied instructional strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Maintain clear and open communication with students, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Oregon teaching license with appropriate endorsement for Spanish.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Willingness to collaborate, learn, and grow as part of a team.
Ability to meet physical requirements in compliance with OSHA and district safety standards.

COMPENSATION:
- 190 day contract
- Family medical, dental and vision insurance
- 6% PERS paid by District
- $49,907-91,207/Annual 2024/2025 school year (2025/2026 salary is dependent upon negotiations)
