POSITION OVERVIEW
The Technology Support Manager leads district-wide initiatives to implement, maintain, and optimize education technology. The Manager supports district staff using educational technology, including student information systems, learning management systems, digital curriculum resources, and classroom hardware. The Manager develops, delivers, and tracks professional learning to ensure staff adopt technology successfully. Additionally, this role manages digital curriculum resources and oversees curriculum delivery and rostering platforms, focusing on enabling staff to utilize district technology resources effectively.

Certifications and licenses must be maintained for the duration of employment.
Education
Associate's degree in Education, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Related experience and / or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certifications / Licenses
Possession of a driver's license valid in Oregon and maintain a safe driving record throughout the duration of employment.
Experience
2 years of professional experience using, training, or supporting the use of educational technology including (but not limited to) things such as student information systems (Synergy, PowerSchool, etc.), learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, Google Classroom, etc.), and digital learning / curriculum delivery platforms (Clever, Classlink, etc.) at an intermediate level.
Other
Computer experience with an emphasis in the use of Google Workspace; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; and work in a networked environment.
Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with school and district employees, Education Services District personnel, and Oregon Department of Education staff.
Ability to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters related to student information, school and district performance on state and federal accountability measures, school and district funding, etc.
Knowledge of K-12 education systems, including school and district operations, the relationship between student information systems and school funding or accountability, and common education vernacular.
Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills and the ability to prepare accurate records, reports, and documentation in clear and simple context.
Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural, ethnic, gender, and religious diversity of students, staff, parents, and community.
Successful experience in working with culturally diverse families and communities, or have otherwise demonstrated a commitment to strengthening engagement of a diverse community and skill in communicating with a diverse population
Ability to type accurately at a minimum of 50 WPM.
Proficient at 10-key.
