Klarity Mental Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Open Monday through Friday from 8am to 430pm, in a clinic setting, patients are seen by appointment only. Initial appointments are 60 minutes, and follow-ups are 30 minutes. No Call, No Weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mental health disorders by conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
- Create personalized treatment plans for patients that may involve a combination of psychotherapy, medications, interventional therapies, and lifestyle modifications (PMHNP).
- Deliver interventional treatments including Spravato (esketamine), IV Ketamine Therapy, and TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) - working closely with clinic leadership team to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Monitor and track the effects of interventional treatment to assess a patient’s response, adjust treatment parameters when applicable, and determine the need for changes to the overall treatment strategy.
- Educate patients and their families about the nature of their mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies to manage symptoms.
- Manage crises that may arise in their patients’ mental health such as depressive episodes, suicidal ideation, and acute psychosis.
- Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in psychiatric care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients in compliance with clinic policies and relevant regulations.
- Review psychiatric care with and collaborate with appropriate team to ensure holistic care for patients.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution - must have
- Licensed and Board-certified as a PMHNP in the state of Indiana - must have
- Active NPI, DEA and CSR - must have
- Willingness to learn and adapt, receiving additional training in various treatment modalities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients on a compassionate and empathetic level.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in psychiatric medicine and related treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Type: Full-time, In Person. No WFH.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year. Top pay is for experienced and dual-certified applicants. Recent graduates are welcome to apply!
