Full Job Description
Manage human resource functions, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and personnel/payroll transactions. Implement personnel policies and procedures. Some of the functions include management of the time clock software, maintenance of personnel files, employment verifications, unemployment claim processing, placing help wanted ads as instructed, FMLA claim processing, COBRA processing, track employee reviews, administer and track points program, administer and track all benefits including health, life, and dental insurance, vacation, personal days, floating holidays, and free lates, assist management with the execution of letters, spreadsheets, and sales contracts as needed
Basic functions include:
A. Hiring Personnel
B. Retaining Personnel
C. Managing the annual review process
D. Company liaison for employee matters
Key Responsibilities
· Administration of all Human Resources functions of up to 30 office or factory full-time employees and up to 20 part-time Homeworker employees.
· Actively recruit for leadership, production, and support staff positions for manufacturing facility.
· Manage and oversee payroll, benefits, workers compensation, and safety processes following best practices and policies following all local, state, national compliance guidelines.
· Maintaining and contributing to a company culture that reflects our values.
· Administers compensation & benefits with accountant, determines local compensation practices & compensation strategy; manages annual benefits enrollment process.
· Participates in counseling, disciplinary actions and/or termination proceedings.
· Tracks HR related KPI’s and generates monthly reports.
REPORTING: The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the President.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. BA, or BS Degree is required.
EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of three years’ experience in People Management or Human Resources in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
· Preferred experience with Macola software and/or Crystal Reports software.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and manage personnel. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, and broad knowledge of federal and applicable state employment laws and human resources practices. This position requires general office, PC/computer, calculator, basic accounting, and data entry skills.
Desktop Computer Skills: Achieve and maintain at least an intermediate level of expertise in Excel, Word, Macola, Crystal Reports, and any other software that is being used or will be used at KLEERTECH®.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
