What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drillers Assistant / Pump Installer-Technician / Laborer position at KLEIMAN PUMP & WELL DRILLING, INC.?
We are a locally owned and operated water well drilling and pump installation business that has been in business for over 75 years and we are looking for individuals that are highly motivated, hardworking, dependable, and looking for a future in a much-needed industry. The positions being sought are a well driller, driller's assistant, and field technician to install and repair water well systems for residential, industrial, and commercial wells.
Experience with water wells, plumbing and some electrical preferred, but not required.
This work is done completely outdoors under various weather conditions.
This is a physically demanding job.
Responsibilities include:
- Installation/repair of water wells per state code requirements
- Installation/removal of pump and well equipment.
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Problem solving
- Carefully follow instructions and willingness to learn
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned with attention to safety and quality
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Maintenance of equipment
Qualifications
- Experience with water well pump installation
- Experience with plumbing and electrical
- Strong work ethic
- Commercial Drivers License (required for job, preferred prior to starting)
- Able to do heavy lifting and strenuous physical work
- Motivated and willing to work diligently, taking responsibility for your work.
- Willing and able to work independently or with a team
- Must have and maintain clean drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Good verbal communication skills with customers and team
- Write brief reports and notes
- Able to pass pre employment drug test and background screening.
- Available to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
