Landfill Gas Support Assistant I or II

Description

Summary: Provide efficient department support to the landfill gas (LFG) team. Provide coverage to other departments when required. This position is based out of Roosevelt Washington, and will report to the Renewable Energy Assets Manager or LFG Site Supervisor.

• Create purchasing requisitions, receive shipments, maintain inventory of general use items and critical spares
• Interface with accounting, engineering, purchasing and customer service departments as required.
• Provide support to the LFG employees, leadership and PUD management.
• Maintain a comprehensive electronic and paper filing system for correspondence, reports, contracts and records for the entire LFG department.
• Assist with regulatory compliance
• Sort and distribute mail and prepare outgoing daily as needed
• Assist in tour preparation, assignments and provide tours as required and necessary
• Provide clerical assistance to LFG Site Supervisor and Renewable Energy Assets Manager as required.
• Assist or perform parts inventory and sto
• Take and record minutes of safety, maintenance and other meetings as required
• Assist in maintaining crew schedule
• Answer radio and provide any required follow-up as a result.
• Compose correspondence to internal and external customers as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Typical Qualifications

Working Conditions and Other Requirements

• Computer and typing skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Work schedule 40 hours per week.
• Work on-site at LFG Project and at Goldendale Main Office
• Some overtime may be required.
• Extended periods of sitting at a computer are normal in this position.
• Ability to work in dusty, cold, heat or climate-controlled environment
• Valid Washington State Drivers License with your own reliable transportation
• Current First Aid/CPR Card
