Klingner & Associates, PC is a 120-year-old firm committed to delivering high-quality engineering services. We're seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Department.
As a Municipal and Industrial Infrastructure Engineer at Klingner, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that shape the infrastructure of communities and industries throughout Illinois, Missouri, Western Kentucky, and Iowa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects, managing timelines, budgets, and overall quality.
- Develop and review designs, plans, specifications, permitting, and final construction documents for various systems.
- Consider multiple technologies, system efficiency, reliability, operator capabilities, long-term need, and environmental impact to promote sustainable design.
- Provide specialized technical input and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and evaluations to support reporting and design.
- Complete Preliminary Engineering Reports, opinions of probable construction cost, and all necessary reports and estimates.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in municipal engineering and/or water/wastewater engineering.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely-related field from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer license in Missouri or ability to obtain within three months.
