Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and overall quality.
- Develop and review designs, plans, specifications, permitting, and final construction documents.
- Consider technology, efficiency, reliability, operator capabilities, long-term need, and environmental impact.
- Provide specialized technical input and modeling and evaluations to support reporting and design.
- Complete Preliminary Engineering Reports and opinions of probable construction cost.
- Identify and address potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory trends.
- Meet funding agency requirements and stay informed about funding options.
- Follow industry design trends, technological advancements, and new certifications.
- Perform and coordinate thorough inspections and assessments with an emphasis on safety and timeliness.
- Implement Klingner standards and quality control procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Attend city council, town meetings, and design meetings.
- Work independently and with other project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Organize, prioritize, and perform work assignments with minimal supervision.
- Closely document all project phases and client communication.
