What We Are Looking For
We’re now hiring a Facility Specialist to support KLN Family Brands. The employee in this position is responsible for maintenance, improvements, and up-keep of KLN, KLN subsidiaries & SisBro utilized buildings and grounds.

What We Are Looking For
We’re now hiring a Facility Specialist to support KLN Family Brands. The employee in this position is responsible for maintenance, improvements, and up-keep of KLN, KLN subsidiaries & SisBro utilized buildings and grounds.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure the level of facility repair meets personal safety requirements.
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all responsible locations, i.e. furnace filters, water filters, operational checklists, etc.
- Coordination and management of subcontracted service providers including but not limited to, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC contractors.
- Manage and keep inventory of consumable materials and tools necessary to perform essential duties.
- Working relationship with utility service providers including but limited to; municipal utilities, electrical provider, communication service providers.
- Professional communication and coordination with facility users and renters.
- On occasion, need a willingness to respond to after-hours emergency calls.
- Safely and effectively operate power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders,
- Ensure quality of work meets or exceeds existing facility conditions.
- Ensure workshop is organized and clean.
- Support management of KLN fleet vehicles as need
- Accomplish other duties as assigned
- General mathematical ability
- Basic computer skills
- Self-motivation
- Good carpentry and finish-work skills and experience
- Experience troubleshooting low voltage HVAC & Electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting water distribution systems and plumbing systems
- Good painting, staining, and general material finishing skills
- Willing and able to get along with others
- Good judgment and reasoning abilities
- Holds a valid driver’s license
