This position is performed in a warehouse and an office setting. While in the warehouse you may experience loud noises and temperature fluctuations depending on the season.

Job Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Lead and be responsible for improving efficiencies in all Manufacturing processes and Welding operations
- Developing Business Plans: Create and maintain operational plans, considering labor hours, cycles, costs, and program requirements
- Establishing Standards: Work with the Director of Quality to set processing and quality control standards, budgets, and cost controls
- Process Planning: Provide guidance in developing plans for staffing, materials, subcontracting, facilities, and equipment
- Meeting Commitments: Ensure the organization meets cost, quality, and delivery standards
- Coordinating Operations: Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource utilization (human, machine, and equipment)
- Monitoring Reports: Review operational reports to address processing and maintenance issues and minimize costs
- Safety Program: Collaborate with the Director of Safety to create and implement programs that reduce accidents and injuries
- Employee Training: Ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year institution or work-related experience
- 7 years of management experience in a metals service center, or a similar environment
- Welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong engineering knowledge
- Manufacturing experience and understanding of efficient layout and process flow
- Lean / Six Sigma experience
- Experience in metals processing/distribution
- Strong leadership, motivation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Process management expertise
- Problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively
