Job Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections, completing production control charts, analyzing data, and making equipment adjustments as needed
- Training: Assist in training others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures and best practices.
- Machine Operation: Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data. Communicate decisions made and refer questions to the supervisor as necessary
- Operational Maintenance: Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Report needed changes
- Preventative Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation of equipment by adhering to preventative maintenance policies and procedures. Report needed changes and repairs
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results, cooperating with team members, and accepting re-assignments as directed by supervisors
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals and team objectives
- Instruction Following: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Reading and Comprehension: Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions
- Basic Math: Ability to understand and use basic math for measurements and calculations
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
