What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales & Relationship Manager position at Klute Inc.?
We're seeking a results-oriented professional to join our team and play a key role in supporting our ambitious growth. You will be responsible for progressing key relationships with a large network of manufacturer representatives, developing and executing strategic sales plans, nurturing relationships with existing customers, and developing opportunities with new customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacturers' representatives' (rep) relationship management
Travel with manufacturers' representatives to new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with reps to determine target customers and help implement plans to develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain steady communication through emails, phone calls and conference calls.
- Customer relationship management
- Manage the company's relationships with existing customers.
- Researches, contacts and establishes a rapport with new customers.
- Coordinates all customer visits, tours and meetings.
- Completes all vendor forms as required by potential new customers.
- Conferences and trade-show expectations
Conferences and trade shows are a key tool for maintaining customer and rep relationships.
- Plan, attend, and set-up/tear-down booths at applicable shows & conferences.
- Greet new and existing customers at tradeshows.
- Follow-up with conference attendees and complete actions.
- Communications expectations
- Be an intermediary for feedback to and from new and existing customers.
- Generate trip reports for customer visits, trade shows and conferences.
- Coordinate with the internal estimating manager on quote activities.
- Planning and forecasting expectations
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the company by projecting expected sales volume for existing and new customers.
- Maintain sales volume and product mix aligned with production capacity.
- Evaluate price data by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Professional growth expectations
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
- Establish networks by participating in professional societies.
- Travel
- Approximately 40-50% of the time.
- Includes travel to new and existing customers, trade shows, conferences and training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (approximately 10 years) work experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years' work experience beyond degree or 15 years work experience. Experience managing and working with manufacturers' representatives and sales professionals. Experience presenting business and technical information to customers. Previous experience erecting, manufacturing, or designing structural steel, and/or electric utility industry expertise is desired.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
