Position Overview:
KMA Consulting Engineers Inc. (KMA) is seeking a CAD Technician to join our growing team in Cherry Hill, NJ. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to produce accurate and high-quality data outputs that meet project specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure technical accuracy and produce high-quality deliverables that meet client and agency requirements
Complete projects within designated time frames and budgets while maintaining quality standards
Develop design plan sets and other project-related documentation with precision and attention to detail
Effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to project specifications
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related role
Strong knowledge of CAD standards and best practices
Proficiency in MicroStation (required)
Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) preferred
Minimum of a high school diploma (associate’s or technical certification in drafting is a plus)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
