We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Designer to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and fabricating dental restorations using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technology. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and other dental restorations using CAD software (such as 3Shape, Exocad, or Dental Wings).
- Prepare digital models for milling, 3D printing, and other manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with dentists, dental technicians, and lab managers to ensure proper fit, function, and esthetics of restorations.
- Optimize digital designs for efficiency, accuracy, and material usage.
- Troubleshoot design issues to ensure high-quality output.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and digital dental technology.
Requirements:
- Experience in CAD/CAM dental design (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
- Proficiency in 3Shape and/or Exocad.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative materials.
- Experience with milling machines, 3D printers, Scanners, and digital workflows in a dental lab setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for esthetics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Dental Technology, Digital Dentistry, or related field.
- Experience with CAM software for milling and 3D printing.
- Knowledge of different dental materials (zirconia, e.max, PMMA, etc.).
