Chief Strategy Officer

We are working with our client TruChoice Federal Credit Union in seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to work in their South Portland office to be responsible for strategy alignment, planning, and talent management to ensure the credit union remains adaptive, develops its workforce effectively, and maintains culture that aligns with its overall goals and values.
Requirements of the Chief Strategy Officer:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
● 5-10 years of Senior Leadership experience
● Experience with business planning, corporate finance, and HR management.
● Experience leading project management teams.

Responsibilities of the Chief Strategy Officer:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations for the following areas of the organization: Human Resources, Administration, Business Intelligence & Optimization and Planning and Project Management.
- Assess and aligns talent and operational capabilities with long-term strategic goals.
- Drives process improvement and innovation strategies that can influence organizational development by fostering a culture of creativity and change.
- Develop and oversee balanced scorecard performance measurement structure and improves organizational performance, often through development programs and initiatives.
- Oversee the organization’s governance and committee structure to ensure adherence to organizational bylaws and execution of Board responsibilities.
- Oversee project planning and successful implementation of organizational projects.
- Encourage and provide mentoring and effective leadership as a cornerstone for maintaining effective work relationships and a high-performance management team. Recommend and implement strategies for enhanced business performance through cost reduction, capacity increase, or quality improvement.
