Riverside Eye Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to work in their Lewiston, Maine office to manage the financial operations of our practice. This role requires expertise in QuickBooks Pro and Google Sheets, as well as the ability to handle a variety of administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while also collaborating with our team.
\n- Minimum of two years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in a medical or healthcare setting).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro and Google Sheets is required.
- Experience with ADP payroll preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with the team.
- Experience handling sensitive financial and patient information with discretion.
- Hourly pay of $25-28 per hour based on experience

- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Track and manage budgets, expenses, and financial forecasting.
- Order office and housekeeping supplies.
- Assist the Practice Administrator with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
