The ideal candidate for our Full Charge Accountant/Bookkeeper role will possess an interest in working to oversee the financial reporting, payroll, assisting in tax preparations, ERP management, employee HR paperwork, and benefit management for a small niche high end manufacturing company based in Saco, Maine. This position involves considerable time working on a computer with occasional phone use.
Applicant should ideally have a passion for all types of music, the arts, and consumer electronics as well as an interest in working amongst a small team. An ability to remain self directed and a high level of computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities
- Processing of weekly payroll
- Daily billing of sales
- Managing ERP software including software updates and keeping info in system accurate
- Managing all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
- Managing and preparing all financial documents and reporting
- Assisting with all tax preparations
- Record keeping and filing maintenance
- Oversight and management of annual and quarterly reporting requirements
- Onboarding new employees as well as managing discharge processes and paperwork
- Managing benefits coordination day to day as needed
- Adherence to any and all safety measures related to the position and company policy
- Remote work is not available for this position
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong computer efficiency required
- Experience with managing AP, AR, GL, Payroll, Financial Reporting required
- Bachelors Degree strongly recommended in Accounting or related field
- 5 years minimum work experience strongly recommended, ideally in related position with similar responsibilities
