We are working with our client, STARC Systems, a globally recognized leader in industrial temporary modular wall systems, in seeking a Supply Chain Production Planner to join their team in Brunswick, Maine !

The Supply Chain Production Planner will collaborate with sales, department managers, team leaders and production teams to ensure timely production goals are achieved while minimizing potential impact on production.

Requirements for the Supply Chain Production Planner :

5 years’ experience with ERP Systems, Acumatica a plus.

Self-confident in a manufacturing environment

Proven ability to develop and optimize systems and planning processes.

Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Experience with multi-level production planning and inventory management.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees and across all functions.

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills.

Advanced skills in Excel.

Kanban experience a plus.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Production Planner :

Analyze shipments forecasts, production capacity and customer orders.

Facilitate timely delivery of products to customers

Create, monitor and manage efficient production schedules aligned with orders ensuring deadlines are met and adjust as needed to meet demands.

Closely monitor production process for timely delivery of customer orders while managing budget goals

Enter, reconcile and verify production slips to ensure inventory accuracy.

Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays

Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.

Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.

Monitor finished goods inventory levels and provide regular production status updates to management team

Coordinate with manufacturing for work allocation and production changeovers

Support new business implementations, including launches and transitions, ensuring readiness and successful execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, operations, and PD, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Review and advise delivery dates for new build to order and custom orders.
