Supply Chain Production Planner

We are seeking a Supply Chain Production Planner to collaborate with sales, department managers, team leaders, and production teams to ensure timely production goals are achieved while minimizing potential impact on production.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze shipments forecasts, production capacity, and customer orders.
  • Facilitate timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Create, monitor, and manage efficient production schedules aligned with orders ensuring deadlines are met and adjust as needed to meet demands.
  • Closely monitor production process for timely delivery of customer orders while managing budget goals.
  • Enter, reconcile, and verify production slips to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays.
  • Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
  • Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory levels and provide regular production status updates to management team.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing for work allocation and production changeovers.
  • Support new business implementations, including launches and transitions, ensuring readiness and successful execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, operations, and PD, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Review and advise delivery dates for new build-to-order and custom orders.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience with ERP Systems, Acumatica a plus.
  • Self-confident in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and optimize systems and planning processes.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience with multi-level production planning and inventory management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees and across all functions.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Kanban experience a plus.
