The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Production Planning Clerk for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Scarborough, ME. Details for the position are as follows :
Job Description :
19.00 - $21.00 / HR based on experience, W2
6 month contract initially (Potential to extend / convert to perm based on performance / budget) ( 100% onsite)
Responsible for :
Work with Manufacturing to ensure supply plan and schedule optimizes manufacturing productivity
Responsible for creating daily production orders for continuous production needs.
Communicate supply plan to key stakeholders including Manufacturing, Engineering
Create and communicate weekly schedule updates
Maintain accuracy of Planning information in MRP system (SAP)
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in Planning and Scheduling processes
Other miscellaneous responsibilities as may be assigned
General ability in maintaining Microsoft excel files
Qualifications :
Minimum HSD / GED required.
Minimum 1-2 years experience required.
Strong analytical skills
Basic experience in MS Office
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment and initiative in dealing with a variety of duties and responsibilities
Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software
