Bring your leadership and tax skills to our awesome team! We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience within a public accounting firm. This position is a mix of managing staff and taking on an important book of business, with a good development path toward higher-level positions within the firm. You'll play a key role in overseeing our tax department and ensuring that our clients are in compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Your keys to success are
- Effectively lead and manage our tax staff
- Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and S-corporations
- Handle federal and state income tax audits
- Prepare tax research and tax projections
- Anticipate, identify and resolve complex project issues
- Manage department/staff budgets and monitor realization, utilization, and accounts receivable progress
- Support the principal team in identifying and planning the development of strategy, objectives and budgets
- Engage in ongoing personal development
You meet the following qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience at a public accounting firm in a tax-related position
- Strong Tax Manager experience
- Proven success in maintaining positive working relationships with clients and coworkers
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in managing a book of business
- Strong organizational, writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
