Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Raleigh, NC is looking to hire a full-time Material Coordinator to purchase equipment and support operations. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Job description
The Material Coordinator position is a fast-paced position that is in Garner, NC. It is also a great opportunity to work for a 175-year-old company that is a leader in the truck body manufacturing industry. Within this role you will be part of a team supporting our equipment installers with the following functions:
· Purchase required equipment and supplies.
· Communicate with vendors and maintain forecasted equipment arrival dates.
· Find solutions to equipment lead time issues.
· Manage inventory stock levels.
· Maintain on-site inventory organization.
· Conduct regular cycle counts.
· Complete 100% physical inventory annually.
· Load, unload and store equipment from transport trucks.
· Effectively communicate with other team members to discuss special items, obstacles, lead times, etc.
Experience
· Exposure to vehicle repairs and/or parts sales a plus.
· MRP or equivalent business system experience.
· Purchasing parts and service for ongoing manufacturing operations.
· Time management and execution of detailed tasks.
· Mechanical/technical aptitude.
· Forklift operation.
· This position will require working on a computer much of the time and the ability to learn a new MRP system.
