Tasting Room Beertender

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Beertender to join our team. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while showcasing your knowledge of various beers and brewing techniques. Your role will be crucial in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for patrons, ensuring they have a memorable experience at our establishment.

Duties

• Serve a variety of beers and pizza’s while engaging with customers in a friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper glassware and equipment handling.
• Operate the cash register and Toast POS systems efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
• Complete daily opening and or closing task sheet.
• Manage inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
• Provide recommendations on beer pairings and educate customers about different brewing styles and flavors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in brewery / restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
• Experience with brewing processes is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A passion for craft beer and an eagerness to learn more about brewing techniques.

Pay: $16.50 per hour plus tips
