KSG is seeking a self motivated, and highly detailed individual to join our team as a Director of Business Development. The successful candidate will be an experienced and proven leader who will grow the business by identifying and developing new business opportunities across the USA.
In this role you will work closely with our executives, leadership team, and field salesforce.
By building relationships with current customers, partners, and vendors the successful candidate will be key in growing our business successfully by evaluating existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't.
Requirements:
5+ years of business development management experience
Proven ability to scale business successfully
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Excellent communication skills
Background in direct sales
Background with Non-Profit organizations
Ability and willingness to travel across multiple states and locations
Experience making sales projections and forecasting revenue
Experience with CRM software
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Research new market opportunities
Oversee current growth project results and make recommendations for improvements
Research and pursue new business opportunities and lead them through the sales cycle
