DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives and screens telephone callers or visitors. Gives information to callers; assists them in determining the proper person/department to contact; takes messages as appropriate. Assists visitors and provides exceptional customer service.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must have superior customer-service skills.
- Must be computer-proficient and able to use common office suite software, such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person and by telephone; ability to efficiently and accurately relay messages and interact with callers and visitors.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING
- High school graduation/equivalent required with one year administrative experience preferred.
- Performs routine but varied clerical duties which may include any of the following: sorting and distributing incoming mail; preparing outgoing mail and/or overnight mail; typing, scanning and uploading files to proprietary software.
- Performs other related duties as necessary, including assisting other departments or employees with general clerical duties and other duties as assigned.
