Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to set up and conduct static strength and dynamic fatigue mechanical tests on various medical device components and assemblies
Job Duties
Set up and conduct mechanical tests on various components and assemblies
Prepare and build test specimens and assemblies
Document and communicate test results to responsible test engineer
Monitor tests to ensure accurate and timely results
Perform routine maintenance of lab and support equipment
Desired Qualifications
2 years of hands-on experience in a R&D or Quality testing environment
Relevant postsecondary certificate or associates degree
Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency
Strong computing skills
Servo-hydraulic load frame experience preferred
Medical device experience preferred.
Experience using MTS test control software preferred
Experience working within an ISO quality management system preferred
