About the Role
As part of our rapid growth, we’re looking for a Catering and & Event Sales Manager at our Champions location in Houston who’ll be responsible for orchestrating exceptional events, securing both new and repeat bookings, and optimizing revenue opportunities. You’ll develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, manage event coordination from inception to completion, and oversee inquiries and contract negotiations.
We’re also looking for someone to lead the banquet team, ensuring seamless service, while fostering and nurturing strong relationships with clients and vendors alike to uphold the highest standards of hospitality. You’ll be a Champions advocate in the community, researching and understanding member and community history and previous experiences to create more personalized customer experiences in order to maintain and expand our reputation in the area.

- Drive sales by prospecting and securing new business, as well as nurturing relationships with repeat clients. Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling event services and offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted vendors (florists, entertainment, linen, decorators, etc.) to ensure timely and successful event execution while maintaining high-quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by being the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and ensuring all their event needs and expectations are met
- Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring clarity on event details, pricing, and expectations
- Strategize with Managing Director to track and analyze sales progress and business trends monthly to determine the most effective tactics
- Conduct semi-annual competitive assessment of banquet menu price positioning within market and adjust accordingly
- 3 years of proven experience in catering, event management, and sales, preferably within a restaurant or event space setting
- Fluent in Vietnamese and/or Mandarin
- Must be 21 years or older
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of catering and event industry trends
- Experience and/or love of the casino gaming industry

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
