What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coastal Resilience Cleanup Laborer position at Knik Tribe?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coastal Resilience Cleanup Laborer will be responsible for following the direction of the Coastal Resilience Coordinator in the coastal cleanup efforts in Knik.
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
· Physical fitness: Have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting and carrying moderate weights.
· Environmental awareness: Basic understanding of local ecosystems and wildlife ecology.
· Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with staff and volunteers
· Positive attitude: Enthusiasm for environmental conservation and restoration efforts.
· Attention to detail: Ability to carefully follow instructions and record accurate data.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Clean state and federal background check.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
· Must pass a criminal background check and be free of barrier crimes.
· Knowledge and application of professional and ethical conduct as guided by Knik Tribal Council Personnel Manual Section 8.1.
