Responsibilities
- Serve as the go to Finance &Accounting lead for the management team
- Perform multiple reporting requirements including : Cash Balance, AP, AR, WIP and monthly close.
- Prepare monthly Financial Statements.
- Complete the monthly project reconciliations and perform the monthly close Transfer budgets into accounting systems.
- Assist with a monthly project forecast, WIP and financial statement.
- Partner with Project Managers regarding contracts, change orders and modifications and approvals.
- Verify the accuracy of billings and payments.
- Ensure that monthly invoices on projects are processed.
- Manage / process company payroll.
- Review check printing, direct deposit processing and any other accounting-related functions.
- Ensure A / P matching process is followed and AP Aging to present to management.
- Lead AR meetings with the executive team.
- Produce a weekly cashflow projection.
- Write off any uncollectible items.
- Manage a junior accountant on the team.
- Liaise with external accounting and consulting firms.
