Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Guest Services Associate to join our team at Knott's Berry Farm. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, including unloading luggage, delivering items to guest rooms, and operating various vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting Guests: Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, unloading luggage and delivering items to their guest rooms as needed.
- Vehicle Operations: Safely operate Hotel Shuttles, vans, limousines, carts, and other vehicles to provide transportation for guests and maintain cleanliness of these vehicles.
- Guest Information: Provide travel information, such as transportation routes and schedules, and arrange taxi services for guests as required.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, complete property walks, and ensure the hotel perimeter is tidy.
- Package Delivery: Securely transfer packages and meeting supplies to designated areas, tag articles, record information, and arrange outgoing freight or packages for hotel guests.
- Guest Services: Arrange cleaning, laundry, or repair of guest clothing and items, compute charges for services rendered, and communicate these to the front desk for inclusion in the guest folio.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Driver's License: Class B driver's license with passenger qualifications required.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of prior driving experience required.
- Schedule: Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Linguistic Skills: Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English at a level sufficient to take guest orders, conduct sales transactions, complete forms, respond to special requests, and answer questions regarding products or merchandise.
