Job Summary:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will assist company end users by supporting, training, and configuring computer systems and software. You will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence by ensuring hardware and software run smoothly and meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware/software according to user needs and company policies.
- Provide user training, create documentation, and answer technical inquiries.
- Maintain system capability by testing components and replacing them as necessary.
- Document hardware/software changes and update policies and procedures.
- Operate and maintain a help desk to address user concerns.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and evaluate new technology.
- Uphold confidentiality to maintain client trust and operational integrity.
- Transport assets to various company locations using a company vehicle as required.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to present technical information clearly.
- Experience in software maintenance, testing, and process improvement.
- Effective communication skills in English, both one-on-one and in groups.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move between office locations and rack mount equipment.
- Flexibility to work in production environments and transport equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
